About Studio C : Cheryl Nemazie
After establishing a successful career as an art director and award-winning graphic designer for an international hotel chain, I left the corporate world to focus on a second career as a documentary and fine art photographer. I've continued to fund my photographic projects as a commercial and event photographer while expanding my editorial portfolio. Recent exhibitions have included: Children Raising Children, Living in the Wake of AIDS on exhibit at the Robinson Gallery, Art Institute & Gallery, June 2009, Salisbury, Maryland; Lessons from the Ring: Main Street Gym on exhibit at Wicomico County Library, June + July 2009, Salisbury, Maryland; Multiple pieces chosen for exhibition in juried shows in Annapolis, Maryland and the Smith Island Artists' Retreat National Juried Exhibition. Works from Children Raising Children: The Aftermath of AIDS series were recognized by the American Society of Media Photographers and exhibited in New York, New York.
